Padron 40th Anniversary

Started in 1964, Padron Cigars are one of the most well-known brands in the cigar industry, and those of you who have taken a chance know exactly why. Constantly landing above 90-rated with all their cigars they have set the bar for cigar manufacturing in Nicaragua. In fact, they have appeared on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 every single year since it’s inception in 2004 and had never once left the top 10.

Jose Orlando Padron was born in 1926 and was raised on his family’s tobacco farm in Cuba where he would learn everything about the trade. He then fled after Castro’s rise to power, eventually settling in Miami and founding Padron Cigars. The company would grown to become one of the most legendary names in the business beside the likes of Arturo Fuente, Davidoff, and Perdomo.

Found in just about everyone’s humidor, the 40th Anniversary is a box-pressed Nicaraguan Puro that won Cigar of the Year in 2004. It is topped with your choice of either an oily Habano wrapper or a rich maduro. Full-bodied and well-refined. Hearty and creamy, yet spicy, it is Earthy with a touch of sweetness.
