ClientI did not want to set unforsaken down to write my critique but I forced myself fearful that I might forget…
The beginning was as calm as a mid summers’s night with all the promise and sophistication you’d expect from a Corojo or Maduro from your cherished stash. The sweet flavor caught my attention the moment I took the first taste. The smooth and calming essence of this fire stick filled me with intrigue.
The transfer from the first 1/3 into 2/3 is definitely noteworthy as this stick does not lend itself to being paired with anything but a soft a relaxing, improvisational jazz tune. No burbon or whiskey needed. You will not want to clear your palette.
Midway into the 2/3 the flavors abruptly became very apparent. My best description lends itself the fragrance of an apple orchard in the fall with an undertone of warm walnuts. There is no pepper and most certainly….., there is no bite.
The final 3rd is as remarkable as the finale of a well planned 4th of July fireworks expedition. It’s as calm as the first 3rds but with all the flavors. This stick ends leaving the palate on a note of fine leather. The stick burned evenly throughout and was rolled to perfection…!! (Insane)
I cut it with a guillotine.

Value Purchase
Bought the 5 Pack of Estaban Carreras Unforsaken when CP Ran Special of 4 Five Packs (of whatever Manufacture Offered), for $17.99 biscuits- divided out to $3.33 a stick. First Look, Did not care for the ring size But, I appreciated the Flavor on the Cold Draw. The Aroma, Pre-Lighting was Inviting. Lit her Up (I prefer Punching), The Draw Was Consistently Easy. Burning, The Aroma is Inviting with tinges of Floral & Woodsy smells. The Burn is a Flavored with Notes of: Milk Chocolate, Cedar & Mild Coffee. The overall Burn is Mild and Creamy to the taste. For me, paying $3.33 A Stick is A Value Purchase. I appreciate being able to pick up 5 Packs which allow myself the opportunities of Tasting The Micro Cigar makers. Sticks at a Low price to Providing Opportunity to a Large Selection. I would Not hesitate to buy again.

Hmmm!
Not happy with the Unforsaken, or the Chupacabra 10th anniversary, or the Chupacabra Maduro. Those are the blends I've been smoking. Overall, the wrappers are fragile and tend to split, unravel and pretty much disintegrate while smoking etc. There seems to be a paraffin type odor to the smoke and the wrappers are kinda shiny like maybe they were sprayed with something to "enhance" the sheen. Hmmm!? I'll pretty much pass on these in the future.
