I’ve only been using Cigar Page for about 6 months. Heard about Raymond Pages, and got a sampler. Really liked some. Megilla, Buena Vista, and Record Bond Edicion Espicial really stood out. My favorite was probably Megilla. The burn is perfect. If you like Illusione and Aganorsa Leaf, you will love these. Just a great cigar- and the price! Raymond Pages is the real deal. The Megilla with some age is just a great cigar. It starts out medium and builds the entire way. By the halfway point, it's so tasty I can't put it down. Review by HOG on 4/5/2024Value
Most impressed by cigars that smoke like a more expensive stick. This definitely fits the bill. Construction, taste and burn. Supporter of samplers, otherwise gems like this would fly under the radar Review by Geoffrey on 4/1/2024Latest thoughts
I've smoked these recently and have come to the conclusion that they are really close to the Buena Vista Edition Limitada. They also cost a little less. Both are good smokes and are both worth it for sure. Maybe you guys can give some opinions on the similarities if you agree. Maybe it's just me! Review by m. on 3/20/2024Nice Smoke
Not a big full bodied cigar guy , but was very happy with this one . Nice flavor, not overwhelming . Great draw, solid ash , plumes of white smoke . Will get some down the road . Review by Ted on 3/14/2024Unraveling Gordo
Good smoke, cigar spent about 2weeks in the humidor before smoking. I worried maybe my humidity was off and got scared for the rest of my cigars - I see now multiple people have an issue with some unraveling. I didn’t even try to take the band off until I was almost done with it. It was beautiful when I started smoking it within 10 min I heard the first sign of unraveling, still smoked the entire thing - quite a good smoke - good flavor and aroma. Money well spent you won't be disappointed. Smooth full bodied stick Review by Geoffrey on 3/6/2024I was pleasantly surprised
I was pleasantly surprised
While purchasing other cigars,
to match the price and quantity,
I bought the Megilla sampler 12 pack without much thought.
Cigars were stored in the humidor for one month.
I smoked Robusto vitola.
I was pleasantly surprised.
Exquisite body and medium strength.
complex flavor and rich smoke.
the draw and burn were also good.
Very good value for money,
this is a cigar that I want to buy regularly.
I think I'll be a fan of Raymond Pages cigars.
I also purchased Hoofty and Last of my Kind.
I'm looking forward to it. Review by Jung on 3/5/2024Megilla Gran Toro
I got this in the Raymond Pages sampler. It had about three days' humidor time. I enjoyed the flavors right off which are decidedly different than anything I've been smoking. As advertised there is a slight sweetness and toasty quality; but I found a pleasant cinnamon type nuance with red pepper on the finish in varying amounts. Tasty. It was medium to medium full with the last 2.5"-3" ramping up. No nicotine blasts. The draw was good, but a burn problem appeared at about 2" in. and it persisted in trying to canoe down that side of the cigar most all the way to the end and needed 4-5 touch ups to keep it even without an inch long unburned portion sticking out. If not for the burn problem, the ash would have hung on for 3 or more inches indicating a good pack and solid contruction. but I really enjoyed the flavors, and I want some more in humi! Smoke if ya got 'em. Review by Mr. Greg on 2/16/2024Great stick
I tried these for the first time this week. I wasn’t familiar with the brand but was very pleasantly surprised with the quality. I will keep these on hand. Review by Robert on 2/5/2024Interesting smoke
Megilla is an interesting smoke, tastes like a milder V with some notes I’ve yet to taste before Review by Euclid on 1/24/2024Megilla Gran Toro, 3 1/2 stars
I've tried some of the Raymond Pages sticks and have come to the conclusion that none rate over 4 stars IMHO. Overall considering the pricing, they are all worth a taste or 2. Nothing was less than 3 stars for me. I'm planning on buying most again, when looking for specials etc. Here goes... Buena Vista 4 stars, Record Bond Edicion Limitada, BDL - Liga 5 Maduro, BDL - Liga 12 Habano, Last of My Kind, Megilla 3 1/2 stars. All quite smokable and I generally find a couple in my rotations. Considering the build and smoking quality along with the RP flavor characteristics of his cigars and CP's great pricings, they are all worth a shot at least! Well, that's my 2 cents. Review by m. on 1/24/2024A revisit a year later
Let's go with 4 1/2 stars. After watching Alex and Jaime do a quickie review on these on the YouTubes, I decided to spring for a few samplers.
Upon arrival at the home of the Bluez, I eagerly ripped into my CigarPage box. (Hey Keith, thanks for the ultra cool free flag man, I love it.) I ripped through the contents of the box to get to the Megilla sampler.
Upon casting my glims on the sampler, I spied some cigars with really nice looking dark wrappers. These are darker than the Megillas I purchased a year ago for sure. I opened the cello and went straight for the Torp. I removed the cello and gave it a sniff. I detected a nice aroma of light hay, barnyard, and that dang hint of wild flower garden. This has to be a thing with Ray Pages. I love it, the aroma is so inviting. The cigar is solid and uniform throughout. The draw and burn are really great too. Heck even the ash is solid and very bright white with gray flecking.
The flavor profile seems to be a bit different than I recall. There's a lot going on here. It's almost a battle between the perfect amount of sweet and spice. There's that awesome NICA peppery thing, but it's not too much. These are a very clean tasting cigar to me. I get hints of earth, but again, subtle. I was able to nub this one to the point of burning my fingers.
Since I smoked that Toro, I've ordered about 100 more Megillas in sampler form. I've enjoyed all six sizes that I've smoked.
This is an outstanding, tasty, and well made cigar by any measure. Were it not for Alex and Jaime doing that short review, I doubt I would have tried them again. I liked them the first time around, but not enough to reorder. I think the blend may have been updated a bit, or my taste has changed.
These are medium bodied at a minimum and loaded with nice flavors throughout. An exceptional cigar at an outstanding price. I'm smoking a Toro right now, I think? It's just delicious. Thanks for vid Alex. You need to do more of these with Jaime. You, Tim B., and now even transformer boy have great taste. Haha, only because it seems to be like mine. Great service as always, thanks Team DaPage Review by Johnny Bluz on 11/29/2023Megilla Robusto
Overall this cigar was sweet and mild in flavor and body, with good intricacies. The cigar stood out as a great smoke for having delicious complexities inside the mild and smooth body. The mouthfeel on the smoke was as pleasant as I can remember recently. It was like bread: only a tiny bit dry.
To start, the cigar tasted like bread. The sweetness stood out, and it reminded me of squash. There were hints of mint and mild baking spices. Sweetness was heavy. Salt, acidity, and umami were medium. Bitterness was low. As I moved through the cigar, I caught notes of sweet coffee, nuts, and chocolate… Later I was thinking of salted cream and/or salted caramel. A bit later I was thinking of a stout beer.I will note that the nicotine on this seemed medium+ or strong for me.

Unique flavor, good burn, good draw, good price. Review by Mark on 9/15/2023Megilla Gorilla Gordo
Have just ordered my third mazos of these Megilla Gorilla Gordos since I'm in a 6x60 mode most of the time. All I can say with a two-thumbs-up type comment is "Wonderful." This cigar was love at first puff......earthy, a bit of sweet/spicy profile on my palate, chewy/thick smoke. I am a fan of Megilla/Cigar page as well. IF at all possible, keep these cigars in stock, and don't change a thing!!! Review by David on 7/18/2023Fanfrickingtastic
Got these on the intro offer. I was thinking a meh EDS (everyday smoke), I could not have been more wrong. THESE are a fanfrickingtastic EDS!! in fact, out of the 20 or so I smoked only 2 were a bit tight but nothing the draw tool could not fix. I found myself keeping them in reserve and allowed them to pick up some TLC in the humidor. Great fresh but kind of shocked on the uptick of the wow these are dang tasty after a month or two. Review by BigNasty on 4/10/2023Exceptionl
Found this medium to full w alot of character. Great looking and oily. Peppery with some sweetness. Very well done will defiantly be buying more. Review by Bill P on 2/17/2023Not bad
Good flavor, nice draw. I had the same issue with it unraveling midway thru. Review by David on 1/28/2023First one.
Got 2 of these in a sampler and the 1st for me. Decent construction, a couple of touch ups along the way, accompanied by a good draw. I found this stick to be medium bodied. I'll smoke the next one and see if anything changes. Review by m. on 1/17/2023Megilla
Definitely not a full strength cigar more of a mild. Tones of cashew and graham crackers with a little spice on the back end. The draw and burn were nice minus the cigar unraveling about midway through. The band is a nice design but impossible to remove without damaging the cigar. The unraveling and especially the hard to remove band is the reason for 3 stars. My biggest pet peeve is a hard to remove band!!! Review by John on 12/2/2022A must try
Couldn’t put this one down it’s a pure flavor bomb Review by Jeffrey on 11/30/2022
