La Palina Original Packaging Nicaragua Oscuro

Some guys like golf or traveling. Some prefer working on cars or throwing a line in the water. Still others up in a treestand or out gardening. Me, I like crunching numbers and buying cigar deals. That doesn't make me a big hit at dinner parties with the art-and-croissant crowd, but it gets the blood flow flowin'. And it's flowin today because this deal is right in the center of the strike zone ... the fabled "old packaging" victimless crime deal. So a few years back La Palina revamped their packaging a little, and after ignoring the inventory for a while apparently decided to adios it all. These boxes and bands feature older versions of the La Palina art. Cigars are identical mind you. Probably even better since they sport a couple extra years of age. 90-rated! This dark cigar sports an Ecuadorian Oscuro maduro wrapper with Nicaraguan long leaves beneath. Oaky and slightly sweet with notes of espresso and dark chocolate. A great choice with your morning cup o' joe. Medium.
