Disappointment
As someone who regularly smokes La Gloria Cubana Serie R Black and loves them, I thought I would give the Esteli a try. The price was decent especially for a 25-count box. I liked the size and look of them and the construction is excellent. They do not come in the large white/red box as depicted on the webpage but rather came in one of the very nice La Gloria wooden boxes with the slide on lid. Sadly, I should have spent a little more money and bought more Serie R. The Esteli was a huge disappointment. It's just not a very good cigar. I've went through 3 of them thus far thinking maybe they would get better. They burn good but taste and smell harsh - reminds me of burning tree leaves in the fall. It is a struggle to get through one and I've got 22 more to go. The 3 stars is just for the price, quantity, construction, and box, otherwise a 1 or a 2 would be more appropriate (in my opinion).

Good Smoke
Well constructed good even burn nice ash, all the way past the mid point , then one bad spot got around it. Med body, med strength good morning or early afternoon cigar. But at 17.00 plus, a hard to beat deal. Jesse
