Could be so goodThese Nica Maduro Graycliffs come with really dark, mottled, and rustic looking wrappers. There's a bit of oily sheen to the wrapper as well. These are supposed to be box pressed, but they're almost round, which for me is a win. There's not much a prelight aroma coming off the wrapper, which is disappointing. The other big thing of note is that these are super squishy compared to most of the cigars I smoke daily. I prefer a form and uniform cigar, but no such luck on these. It'd be easy to stop there and hit them with a 2 star rating. I won't simply because these have some potential. A little tweak here, a little tweak there, and better construction would make this a solid 4 star cigar. By tweak I mean another leaf of ligero for both spice and strength. These come in at medium and I think they're the exact same cigar as the CP, "Don't Tread on Me" label. They have a unique flavor that i only taste in these and the DTOM cigars. But hey, they're el cheapos, I would have liked better, but it is what it is.
The draw is good, and even with the sub par roll on this, it never gets hot or sour. A good yard work or knock around cigar. I can tell within a minute of lighting this, it's the same cigar as the DTOM. If it's different, it ain't by much at all. Average cigar, glad I tried them. Not off putting, but certainly not a maduro I'd choose if I had options. Spend more, buy some Penn Standards and thank me later.

One but not done.
Smoked one from a sampler and I liked it! I'd smoke again for sure. Maybe spring for a fiver or ten pack. Medium+ with decent complexity and a straight burn, lots of smoke. Good price point with GP's many specials etc. Nice smoke for maybe one or two a week!

Inconsistent Product
Bought a fiver that smoked beautifully. Full flavored, peppery, with notes of cocoa that burned slow and even. Loaded up on eight more fivers. I'm six cigars in and noticed a difference in flavor profiles and construxction quality. These don't have the cocoa notes and burn uneven and are always smoking out. Gotta say I'm really bummed these weren't like the first fiver I picked up.

Very enjoyable!
Mild but not without an interesting mix of flavors. Easy draw, even burn. What's not to like and, affordable. Probably my new favorite everyday smoke.

Very Pleasant
This cigar is very enjoyable. Nice burn, nice charred flavor, construction is good. Not sure what the last guy reviewed, but can I give him one star for grammar? "Not well made enough" Really?

Meaty Nicaraguan
Good flavors. Retrohale is slightly salty like a medium steak. Not too powerful but a perfect evening cigar with a strong pour. Box press was a good call by graycliff.
