Honest Review from a daily cigar smokerWhile the Cult cigars bring good value for craftmanship and taste, the one thing that drives me away from all Cult cigars are the amount of thick stems in the Gordo cigars. These thick stems are what change the flavor of the cigars for the worse. In my experience, I have pulled out on average 3-6 thick stems from each Cult cigars.

This review is on the 6*60 Gordo. This is a decent looking cigar. The construction is good, but the roll is a bit spongy. The draw is good, but I had to relight this one quite a few times. The flavor profile is clearly more stout than the regular CULT, but this still remains pretty much medium bodied. The flavor profile is peppery, earthy, and has hints of leather. Overall, a good knock around cigar when on spesh. If they had been rolled better with a nicer density, the potential would have been easier to judge. I'm hoping the next few I smoke will have that density.

Go to stick
I just starting getting these in the last year. My cigar budget has gone down since the...well, you know. I gave these and try and low and behold what I found was a very good stick at a price you often find junk. I fill up the humy when these go on sale. Thank you CigarPage for bringing us this great value!

Full on Fuerte Gordo
This is a really good cigar if you are in the mood. Yes it is Fuerte, so not a casual affair on an empty stomach. It's a full on companion after a big steak and accompanied by a heavyweight scotch or bourbon. Like the rest of the range, it's well made, burns long and is mega tasty. I love this Cult range and this one is worth keeping in the collection for when you want a full on boom stick. Excellent Cigar

Just what you want
These fulfill the expectations of what a cigar should be, well constructed, cinnamon and licorice notes basically just what I always wanted from a cigar.
