Quattro Nica toro
Got this in Twelve Angry Men sampler. Fired it up curious about the very high ratings.

The good: Beautifully constructed. The wrapper is so clean, and the cap perfect. Ideal draw. Burn line stayed near even. Ash was the prettiest I have seen to date and hung on til the two- inch mark.

The bad: not much flavor, and really not much in terms of sweet spice. Wood, leather, not complex. That said it never got actively bad til the middle of the final third, when bitterness took over.

The ugly: (why did this get mega rated) and the cold draw had a rather discordant note of … poo? porta potty?

All told not a bad stick (it did not taste like truly bad sticks that were like licking a bonfire log) but not a properly good one either.

Afternoon/evening smoke
I scooped up a 5 pack of toros and found the flavors more on the zesty/spice side. About mid way through, the spicy flavor calmed down. The final 3rd the pepper and spice dominated the flavor. Not what I was expecting but still a good stick.

Buttery Smooth & Ages Beautifully
Cigars with some of the smoothest wrappers I’ve come across. Even smoother than most Connecticuts. Age does these wonders and really rounds it out even better.

Quatro Nica treat
First try of an Aging Room stick. Very impressed with this cigar. Notes of coffee and nuts with a semi sweet finish. Very smooth and balanced, not too complex but very flavorful. A hearty and rich smoke, and great burn for a box press. Will buy again and explore their line of cigars. Not as good as an Oliva Serie V maduro but, what is??

Consistent and Complex
This cigar is both consistent and complex. I don’t this it offers a unique flavour profile, but that doesn’t seem to be the point of the cigar. It is a high performing Nicaraguan puro with a smooth draw and great construction. I recommend the torpedo or toro, as probably you won’t be want this to be a short smoke.

Outstanding

Well Deserved Cigar of the Year
I tried this stick because it was identified by Cigar Aficionado as the 2019 stick of the year. Because I don't like torpedoes I went with the Vibrato vs. Maestro. I was not disappointed! The size and consistency, as well as draw, is perfect. I have never had a bad one. I haven't experienced canoeing or tunneling, but instead an even burn. A "low maintenance" smoke, I have not had to tend to it, just smoke it. A definite keeper!

Great smoke!
Simply a great Smoke! I prefer a mild to medium stick but this is the exception. The only full body cigar in my rotation. Great texture, balance and draw. The Maestro selection is the perfect size. I love it!
