SKU: KS-MC6

You need to pick up this cigar, even if only so your hands know just how good your palate has it. It's that good. A legitimately solid blend from a renowned factory at a discount like this? That's a steal.

This industry steps on its own you-know-what almost daily. Cigar manufacturers consistently pump out "brick and mortar only" exclusive brands that always - ALWAYS - hit the skids within a few years of release. Some define insanity as doing the same thing over and over expecting different results....cigar makers call it "practice." It's great for you and me though. Big 60-ring, rich and tasty Macanudo 1968 goodness for under 4 bucks a stick? Can't lose. Originally created to celebrate the iconic Macanudo brand’s 40-year legacy, 1968 is crafted from proprietary tobaccos all grown by General Cigar. This is much fuller bodied and thus a big departure from the flagship Macanudo blend. Rated 90, the 1968 is an intricate blend with a very well-balanced flavor profile. Rich, voluminous smoke envelops your palate. The crisp tobacco flavor and an underlying presence of inherent natural sweetness from the soils that bore each tobacco is undeniable. The wrapper is a Cuban-seed Honduran San Agustin leaf, binder is Connecticut Habano, and fillers hail from Dominican, Nicaragua, and the volcanic island of Ometepe. This complex blend evolves as you smoke, starting out sweet and almost chocolatey, then some coffee and caramel flavors develop, more cedar and coffee, and finally hints of pepper and spice become increasingly prominent through the 2nd half as it burns.
